Starting Point

This is my new apartment. As you will see, its in dire need of attention. The last owner had some of the worst taste in decor possible. I am learning this is par for course in Salt Lake.

Above is the entryway.

This is the main room. Yes, the walls have been painted a dark snot-shade of green. That is not a trick of the camera. The add insult to injury, the previous owner saw it fit to texture one wall with spaced wood paneling, instantly placing the room squarely in 1978. I put my bed in the main room, because I'm prepping the bedroom for repainting.

This is the bed room. More horrible taste on display.

This is the rear patio, looking left to the neighbor's patio.

One of the best things about this place is that my parking space is a step away from my patio. I created a makeshift staircase for quick access. I'll install a new patio door lock that can be locked and unlocked from the outside. Thus I'll effectively have a new front door with convenience.

The bedroom also has quite a large window that can access the patio.
